Method
Boil the linguine in well salted water for 9 minutes until al dente, saving a cup of the cooking water.
Meanwhile pat the shrimp completely dry and season them with salt.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and cook the sliced garlic and chili flakes for 90 seconds until pale gold.
Raise the heat and sear the shrimp for 90 seconds per side until they curl and turn opaque.
