Ingredients

  • Firm TofuProduce6 oz
  • Hoisin SaucePantry2 tbsp
  • Rice NoodlesPantry3 oz
  • Bok ChoyProduce1½ cup
  • Red Bell PepperProduce1 piece
  • GarlicProduce2 clove
  • Sesame SeedsPantry1 tsp

Method

  1. Soak the rice noodles in just boiled water for 6 minutes, then drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Press the tofu dry and tear it into rough bite sized pieces so the sauce has something to cling to.
  3. Fry the tofu in a hot wok with a little oil for 7 minutes, turning every couple of minutes until browned all over.
  4. Add the sliced pepper, the halved bok choy and the minced garlic and stir fry for 3 minutes.
  5. Pour in the hoisin sauce with 2 tablespoons of water and toss for 1 minute until everything is glossy.
  6. Add the noodles, toss to combine and finish with the sesame seeds.
