Method
Freeze the steak for 15 minutes, then slice it as thinly as possible against the grain.
Heat half the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the sliced onion, pepper and mushrooms for 10 minutes until soft and caramelised.
Push the vegetables aside, raise the heat and sear the beef in one layer for 90 seconds per side.
