  • Jasmine RicePantry3 oz
  • Thai BasilProduce4 tbsp
  • Soy SaucePantry1½ tbsp
  • GarlicProduce4 clove
  • Green BeansProduce1 cup
  • Chili FlakesPantry½ tsp
  • Oyster SaucePantry1 tbsp

Method

  1. Cook the jasmine rice in a covered saucepan with double its volume of water for 12 minutes and rest off the heat.
  2. Heat a wok until smoking and fry the ground chicken for 6 minutes, pressing it flat so it browns properly.
  3. Add the sliced garlic and chili flakes and stir fry for 1 minute.
  4. Add the trimmed green beans and cook for 3 minutes so they stay squeaky.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce with 2 tablespoons of water and toss for 1 minute.
  6. Take the wok off the heat, fold in the Thai basil until it wilts and serve over the rice.
