Method
Cook the jasmine rice in a covered saucepan with double its volume of water for 12 minutes and rest off the heat.
Heat a wok until smoking and fry the ground chicken for 6 minutes, pressing it flat so it browns properly.
Add the sliced garlic and chili flakes and stir fry for 1 minute.
Add the trimmed green beans and cook for 3 minutes so they stay squeaky.
Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce with 2 tablespoons of water and toss for 1 minute.
Take the wok off the heat, fold in the Thai basil until it wilts and serve over the rice.
